Dr. Pozotrigo is a board certified oncology pharmacist that serves as an oncology medical information resource for OncoHealth, responsible for providing recommendations for alternative therapy or support for existing anti-cancer treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine. She utilizes her extensive oncology experience to guide health plans through the rapidly changing oncology drug landscape, assisting with improved cancer care for their members and developing cost-effective approaches to high-quality care.
Dr. Pozotrigo graduated from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University. She completed a Pharmacy Practice residency at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL followed by an Oncology Specialty Pharmacy Residency at Memorial Sloak Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in NYC. She began her career at MSKCC specializing in pediatric hematology/oncology and later specializing in pediatric stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy where she established the role of the clinical oncology pharmacist in the outpatient transplant clinic. She is published in the Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation journal, Bone Marrow Transplant, the Journal of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society and the American Journal of Health System Pharmacist. Her main area of research interest is CAR-T and pediatric hematology/oncology.
