Sourab Ganna is a Ph.D. student in Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes and Policy at the University of Houston, with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a background in biology. His research focuses on improving medication adherence and health outcomes in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD), utilizing advanced methodologies such as qualitative research, survival analysis, and claims-based data analytics. Sourab’s dissertation examines Initial Medication Adherence (IMA) and its impact on continuation-phase adherence and healthcare costs, incorporating innovative approaches like artificial intelligence and structural equation modeling. With extensive experience in pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, and healthcare systems research, he has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and presented at leading conferences, including ISPOR and SPAC. Sourab also serves as the President of the University of Houston ISPOR Chapter, demonstrating his commitment to advancing health economics and outcomes research.
